Viktor Akerlund

Viktor is an experienced management consultant with a focus on business development. He has worked both as a project manager and consultant manager, serving clients within the automotive-, building- and infrastructure industries and the public sector.  He is skilled at driving change, solving complex problems and bringing structure where needed.

Past experience

Prior to joining TruePoint, Viktor first worked at a leading Swedish management consultancy, mainly serving a global vehicle manufacturer as part of the PMO of a company-wide process & IT transformation program.  He later joined Sweco, Europe's leading consultancy within engineering and architecture where he worked as a project manager, as well as a manager.  There he served both internal and external clients, improving processes, organizations, and coached managers and project leaders.  He also participated in Sweco's leadership program for high-potential leaders over the course of one year.  Viktor is certified in GRI Sustainability Reporting Standards and many of his assignments at Sweco had a connection to sustainability and sustainable development.

Personal

Viktor lives in Uppsala Sweden with his wife and son. He enjoys long distance trail running and other activities in the nature like hiking or cross-country skiing. In 2018 he lived for 6 months in San Sebastian, Spain, a great place for a food and wine lover like Viktor.
