Chris Richmond

Over the last 25 years, Chris has held executive leadership positions at leading U.S. companies where he has led numerous turnaround situations.  Throughout his career, Chris has been responsible for managing large scale organizational change efforts, implementing change acceleration and growth strategies and overseeing large scale integrations. Recent client engagements include:

  • Led work with CEO and Senior Team in multi-year change and Leadership Development effort at a large manufacturing company in Europe.

  • Co-led an organizational alignment effort with a new CEO and Senior Team at a major defense contractor.

  • Led a strategy/organizational alignment effort with CEO of a leading scientific institute.

Past Experience

Prior to joining TruePoint, Chris ran three separate businesses within General Electric Capital Corporation as CEO over an 11-year period.  Between 1994 and 2001, he built the Commercial Equipment Financing business from a U.S.-focused business into the largest business in GE Capital, with $75 billion in portfolio assets and $30 billion in annual sales in 18 countries.  In 1997, Chris was appointed an Officer of the General Electric Company.  He was also active in teaching at GE’s Leadership School. Chris’s earlier experience includes three years as President and COO of Syska and Hennessey Engineers, the largest mechanical/electrical engineering consulting firm in the U.S., Executive Director of a large Public Authority in New York and CEO of a software firm among other leadership positions he has held.

Personal

Chris is a Board member and immediate past president of a Boys and Girls club in Boston and is on the Board of Interise, a not for profit organization helping small businesses build capability and grow in inner cities throughout the U.S.
