Genuine Feedback for Leaders:
A Discussion among Peers
TruePoint’s CEO Roundtables are daylong
forums sponsored by the TruePoint Center
for High Performance and High Commitment.
TruePoint invites five or six CEOs who share
a dedication to building high performance
and commitment in their organizations. These
chief executives discuss and share experiences — and get meaningful feedback from
peers — on their organizations’
fundamental strategic issues and challenges.
Our CEO Roundtables fulfill at least two
important purposes. Each CEO benefits from
sharing his or her company’s case
and exploring, with peers, what has and
has not worked. And participating leaders
have the opportunity to meet and develop
relationships with others of like mind and
commitment. The format of CEO Roundtables
is flexible, typically involving a full
day of discussions spread over two days,
with a relaxing dinner and informal conversation
in the evening between.
TruePoint’s CEO Roundtables often
grapple with tough, meaningful issues, so
they are distinctly different from other
forums where CEOs highlight worthy accomplishments
and answer questions but rarely get genuine
input on their thorny, unresolved issues.
It is this framing that makes our CEO Roundtables
an especially powerful and worthwhile learning
experience for leaders.
